Here is a guy from France who has been all over Europe on a moped… this past summer he ventured all over Canada on his trusty 50cc Mobylette, crossing the country and even heading up to the arctic circle… Dont know how to embed media so you just have to follow the link to see the crazy Mobylette driver from France. It’s been way too long since we’ve gotten together. Anyone interested in a little pub night to catch up in person? Well here is how the Raleigh was shipped to me via GreyHound. Might be a good thing to keep in mind if there is a moped you really really really want but it is in a far far away place in the Great White North. Disassembled into 5 easy pieces - two wheels, two boxed and a frame - $88 from Calgary to Eastern Ontario - have to bubble wrap some parts so they do not get accidentally banged around - also good to have a manual so you can get all of the pieces back together again. So… I had a spell of laziness and neglected to pay the web hosting bill. Subsequently the site went down. Anyway I fixed it all up today and we’re back in business! Might even make it a bit prettier one of these days as well…… So what’s new? Nice winter for riding. Any good stories? New bikes? Bueller? Friend of mine is trying to get people together and enjoy mopeds. Currently he has this ad posted on Kijiji What a short and crappy summer! Anyone want to do a big fall run just for fun? Although with the state of my mopeds I might be on my motorcycle haha…

Who wants a Carabela?Posted by: Lindsay in for sale, moped, tags: carabela, for sale, mopedUnfortunately, as all of you who know me know, I’m out of space, so I can’t take this little beauty. This awesome little Carabela runs well, and has papers. The price is $300, so this is a great deal. If anyone’s interested, give Peter a call at 705 745 2620 or email him. Unfortunately it won’t be allowed on public roads… no real reason given, but here’s an article about the new Peugeot line-up in Canada. |
