Dan from Tomos emailed me - they are having a warehouse sale and the prices are really good for new mopeds, some of them are half price. If anyone wants the price sheet email me and I’ll send it over. Got an email today: “i have 2 1/2 honda pc50e’s for sale, 2 pretty complete bikes that need work, both do run by dripping gas down intake as both carbs are off, have what looks like a complete carb,early 70’s i think, could be driven with little work, brake levers are only thing that looks like missing, lights and horns work , exhausts look good
also have 1/2 bike, has motor in box apart, no front wheel or forks.”

Cody, who’s on the long distance moped ride through Canada mentioned in one of the posts below, will be rolling into Toronto this weekend. Either Friday or Saturday. Anyone want to get together and show him a good time? He’s in need of a couch, food, beer and moped talk. Possibly a ride if anyone is interested. Anyone in? You dont see too many of these come up for sale! Nice Aermacchi! Could be a nice restoration project - but $800? You’ve got to be kidding me! If anyone has money to burn, you can click on the pic to get to the ad.

I’ll be there (not on moped as they are all in pieces) and I think some out of towners will be as well. Here’s the link to the Facebook event. Saturday will be at Ashbridges Bay Park, and Sunday at Davisville Park. Hope to see some of you out and let’s hope it doesn’t rain! Sorry to say it, but at $1,175 I think it will last! Nice little PC50 but a hefty price tag!

2010 Toronto Moped Meet #01!Posted by: IRONfist in for sale, moped, mopeds, rally, ride, scooter, scootersGood day everyone! Looks like this season is shaping up to be prime moped riding weather so get your machines tuned up!! In the near future I may have a few mopeds and/or moped parts to sell or trade, will keep you all informed. So far the consensus is we will meet the first weekend in May at Ashbridges bay park on the saturday and at Davisville park on the sunday. (*IMPORTANT NOTE*: the signs in Davisville park DO NOT read as Davisville but as someone’s name) Thats May 1st and 2nd, starting the meet at 11:00am each day and, so we have time to do trades or sales, starting the ride about 2:30 or 3:30 and riding until whenever! Please mark it on your calendars!! For the ride it looks like I will need a loaner if anyone attending is willing. I have my own helmet and license, just need a machine to ride as mine is still a work in progress. I have no issue buying gas and 2 stroke oil! If you will be attending and have a plated loaner I can use please let me know!! If you have any input feel free to write me!! Ride hard, Seize soft Allan |
