I can take 2, maybe 3 depending on how much you like the person next to you and 2 or 3 bikes in my truck. Let’s get a team out there and show those scooter folk what we’re made of! Who’s in?

Wow, my work schedule and ridiculously busy life is really eating into my moped time. I got my Batavus HS50 up and running for the first time yesterday and it was a blast. I also took out a friend’s 550 Honda, and went over to the National Motorcycle Show at the CNE, where I almost bought a real cute 1987 Honda CBX250 but got beaten to the punch by a teenager and his dad.

Anyway, point being, let’s get this show on the road! I’d also like to ask others to be more involved in planning rides. etc. this year. It seems like nothing ever gets planned unless I do it all, and I’m just way too busy. So please shoot me emails at motormatic@gmail.com and I’ll hook you up with the magical powers to post on this site.

But I’ll plan the first one. Next Sunday is bad for me due to an all night poker game at work (yes, at work) on Saturday night, so how about we start the season off on April 12th? 1 p.m. at Cherry Beach. It’s Easter Sunday, is that a problem for you guys? Less traffic on the roads!

And we’ll take it from there every other Sunday or something?
