So… I had a spell of laziness and neglected to pay the web hosting bill. Subsequently the site went down. Anyway I fixed it all up today and we’re back in business! Might even make it a bit prettier one of these days as well……

So what’s new? Nice winter for riding. Any good stories? New bikes? Bueller?

  1. YAY
New bike - most recent anyhow - playing with a 1963 RM6 Raleigh that was disassembled and sent to me via GreyHound bus just in time as a christmas present. Repainted and in process of figuring which part goes where like some diabolical piece of Ikea furnature without an instruction sheet.

  2. Nice! Let’s see some pics!

My big project right now is my 1964 Puch Twingle 250cc. Well actually finding the time is the big project, the bike is fairly complete!

  3. Well hello stranger! Anyway lots of small things and larger bits in the fire. The ever increasing horde seems to grow in dark places.
Present project that is near and dear to Lindsay’s heart is the red Nippy. Well Lindsay let me tell you that has been some journey! All the bits have gradually been rounded up right down to the air pump and now are awaiting assembly. Every nut and bolt and any other bit has been looked at. This bike will be on the road in the spring, if the Villiers decides to play nice at that time. I have another project to follow which is a small dirt bike made by Puch (Magnum X) back in the 70’s that will need a complete going over. As for my moped rider it transforms every year and now has only a passing resemblance to the original Tomos LX. Definitely faster than stock now. lol
So good to see this flying again, cheers.

  4. John, I cannot wait to see the Nippy!! I’m so happy it’s finally going to be on the road!!
